German Titans e.V.
Official Tennessee Titans Fan Club
On March 29, 2015, Daniel created the first German-language Titans Facebook group when the franchise hit rock bottom after 5 wins from 2 seasons: "Hello everybody, this group was
founded out of pure interest to see how many Titans fans get together in Germany."
With the Draft 2015, in which Marcus Mariota was the second draft-pick overall, the first hardcore fans gradually joined the group. After the first year the group had about 35
members. Through the change at the top of the franchise (Amy Adams Strunk was appointed Controlling Owner and Jon Robinson General Manager) and the resulting success, the group grew
steadily.
After the first winning season with Mariota under center, the group broke the first barrier of 100 people. After the Titans reached the playoffs in the 2017 season for the first time
since 2008, the first small groups met throughout Germany to watch the wildcard game together. The euphoria over the progress was fueled by the announcement of the London Games for
the 2018 season with the participation of the Titans.
For the Divisional Round Game a Watch Party was organized in Wiesbaden directly after the victory against the Chiefs. Thursday evening (between Wild Card and Divisional Round game)
after the announcement of the London Games a member (Felix) asked when the fan club would be established. Within one day the statutes were written and on Saturday evening on
13.01.2018 at the Sportsbar in Wiesbaden the nine founding fathers came together and established the fan club.
